Reduced Inequalities

Reduced Inequalities
UofG Sport is open to all and we're committed to improving our service and facilities to ensure every body feels welcome, while promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.

Purple Tuesday
UofG Sport are working with Purple Tuesdays, inviting the organisation to carry out an Accessibility Audit to further understand how UofG Sport can improve it's facilities and experience for our community.

Quiet Hour
UofG Sport recognises the need for a daily Quiet Hour and have implemented this at both our facilities between 15:00 and 16:00 to support a more accessible and relaxed experience for customers who may find the environment challenging.
It’s a dedicated time where lights, noise, and other stimuli are reduced where possible to accommodate individuals with sensory sensitivities or a preference for a calmer environment.

Women in Sport
UofG Sport regularly celebrates and highlights Scottish Women in Sport Week. The campaign aims to empower and celebrate Scotland’s females in all sports and provide equal access to sporting opportunities for women and girls of all ages.
With over 50 GUSA clubs available, UofG Sport classes and training courses for all abilities, we do all all we can to promote and encourage the space for women in our community.

Sustainability at The University of Glasgow
